How do I register?

Registration is quick and straight forward. Submit this brief registration form, watch for the confirmation email from Molex, then click “Confirm Your Email Address” to complete the process.

Can I use my MyMolex username and password?

Yes, you can use your existing MyMolex username and password to log in to Molex.com.

Finding Samples

Which products are available as free samples?

We offer free samples on more than 15,000 products available on Molex.com. To check sample availability, look for the “Add to Cart” button on the part number details page.  If the button is missing, use the “Find Similar Parts” link for alternatives.

How do I add a sample to my cart?

To add a sample to your cart, click the “Add to Cart button” on the right side of any part number details page on Molex.com.

How do I order samples for a part that doesn’t have an “Add to Cart” button?

When the “Add to Cart” button is not displayed on a part number details page, it means that samples are currently unavailable. To search for alternative part numbers, click the “Find Similar Parts” link.  You may also be able to purchase parts through distributors listed in the Distributor Inventory panel.

Ordering and Payment

How many samples can I order?

You can order multiple quantities and part numbers at once. However, each part number is configured to limit the number of free samples based on its cost and complexity. Additional quantities are available for purchase during the checkout process.

What if I need a higher quantity of parts than allowed?

Each part number is configured to limit the number of free samples based on its cost and complexity. Additional quantities are available for purchase during the checkout process.  

Why am I asked to provide my application and project information?

Providing your application and project information helps us enhance the user experience and improve sample availability.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for sample orders.

Can I change my payment method after completing my order?

Once an order is submitted, you cannot change the payment method for your order.

Can I submit a purchase order?

Currently, Molex.com does not accept purchase orders for samples.

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel an order before it ships, contact us at molex-orders@supplier-direct.com or call +1-682-518-7053. Orders cannot be cancelled after shipping.

Can I order samples by email?

Samples must be ordered through our online platform, not via email.

Can I place a backorder for a sample that is not available?

We do not accept backorders for unavailable samples, but you may be able to purchase parts through distributors listed in the Distributor Inventory panel.

Shipping

What should I expect after I place my order?

After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email promptly. Orders placed by 11:59 a.m. Central U.S. Time (UTC-6) will be processed the same day. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email containing the carrier’s delivery tracking number along with a link to monitor progress.

How long does it take to process my order?

Orders received by 11:59 a.m. Central U.S. Time (UTC-6) are processed the same day, while those received after this time will be processed the following day. We process orders seven days a week.

How long does shipping take?

For U.S. orders, we provide free standard two-day ground shipping. International orders ship via standard air freight at no charge. All shipments originate from our distribution hub in the United States.

Can I send my order to another person?

Yes, you can specify a different recipient’s name and address during the checkout process.

Can I send my order to my home address?

Yes, simply enter your home address as the residential ship-to address during checkout.

Can I track my order after it ships?

Yes, after processing, you will receive an email with the carrier’s delivery tracking number and a link to track your order’s progress.

Can I ship my order to any country?

We currently ship orders to 205 eligible countries.

Can I ship my order overnight?

Yes, you can opt for expedited shipping during checkout by paying a small fee or by providing your own freight information.

Can I ship my order with my own freight account?

Yes, you can enter your freight account details during the checkout process for expedited shipping.

How are incoterms determined for my shipment?

  • An order with a merchandise cost equal to $0.00 and has a ship to location that allows DDP from a United States entity will ship with DDP incoterms.
  • Orders with a merchandise cost greater than $0.00 or have a ship to location that does not allow DDP incoterms from a United States entity will ship FCA incoterms.
  • Customers are responsible for import fees, duties, and taxes on FCA incoterms
  • The import country makes the final decision on all shipments
