S3.2 Creating Roles, Permissions and Users (06:30) with Jessica Lash, SAP Network Deployment Lead

Getting Started, onboarding users ...

Setting up users in SCC requires few simple steps.  Let's find out what is needed to get your team members transacting in the SAP Business Network!

Accept the TRR

Creating Roles, Permissions and Users will be performed by the Digital champion, once the Trading Relationship Request (TRR) has been completed.

1

Create a Role

The first step in managing roles, users and permissions is to create a role. Every user must have a role assigned so you’ll want to make sure you have their role setup prior to creating the user.

Molex recommends the following roles to support SCC transactions: Order Management, Accounts receivable and Quality.

1

Role Permissions

Each role will have designated permissions which will control what the user assigned to the role can and cannot do within the account.

1

Create Users

To create a user, go into “manage users” and from there you will enter a username.

SAP Business Network DOES require that all usernames be in the format of an email address.

Molex is requiring that you use an email address with your company domain.
