Become a Molex Supplier

At Molex, we are committed to building strong, collaborative, and digitally enabled supplier partnerships. Our digital onboarding process ensures a seamless experience from registration through qualification, while enabling suppliers to engage with us through innovation, efficiency, and transparency. Through a streamlined approach, we aim to provide greater support and help suppliers succeed within our global ecosystem.

Overview

Molex has digitized the supplier onboarding process to ensure a seamless and efficient experience. All new suppliers are required to register through the SAP Business Network, our global digital procurement platform. Our internal team will identify your organization as a potential supplier and initiate the onboarding request.

As part of this process, we also request you nominate a Digital Champion. The Digital Champion is the primary representative responsible for:

  • Creating and managing your organization’s SAP Business Network Account
  • Providing the necessary business and compliance information
  • Coordinating with Molex during the registration and onboarding stages

Frequently Asked Questions

Our businesses identify new opportunities every day. After an internal review, you (or your designated Digital Champion) receive an invitation to register with Molex through the SAP Business Network. Through the Business Network, you will gain access to our registration and qualification questionnaires. These must be completed before your organization is fully set up as a supplier. Our registration process aims to collect the information necessary to create a supplier record (name, address, national taxpayer identification, electronic payment information), while the qualification processes determine what our businesses can purchase from your organization and for which purposes.

Molex strives to be a preferred partner for both our customers and suppliers. Depending on the nature of our relationship and opportunity, our businesses can discuss or negotiate concerns you may have and arrive at a mutually beneficial compromise.

Being a preferred partner to our customers requires Molex to move at the speed of the market. We believe digitally-enabled commerce to be scalable, sustainable, and efficient to a degree that email, fax, and telephone calls simply are not.

While exceptions to our usual processes are possible, suppliers who embrace our digital strategy may gain a competitive advantage over those who do not.

Depending on the supplier type and business scope, certain ISO certifications are required.

No. Supplier registration does not guarantee business. Registration allows Molex to evaluate potential suppliers based on business needs, compliance, and strategic alignment.
